2人乗りのマシンながら，惑星ハックマイン特産の金属ワカメールを外装に用いることで，驚異の軽量化を実現。出場マシンの中では，もっとも軽量のマシンである。軽量化とひきかえにボディ強度を犠牲にしており，他のマシンやガードビームにぶつからずに走りぬく操作テクニックが要求される。

惑星「ハックマイン」に住む「フリカケル人」は，生まれた時から2人1組で行動するという変わった習慣を持つ種族である。ゴマーは頭は賢いがかなり背が低いので，身長の高いシオーを非常にうらやましく思っている。もう片方のシオーは，頭が賢くていろいろなことを知っているゴマーを尊敬しており，彼の言う事なら何でも信じてしまうところがある。絶妙なコンビネーションで，2人乗りの「F-ZERO」マシンを華麗に操縦する。長年コンビを組んできたが，来年お互いに結婚して相棒が変わるため，今回がこのコンビで出場する最後となるとの噂があるが，本当のところは定かではない。ちなみにゴマーの奥さんはスリー，シオーの奥さんはサトーというらしい。
